Sunday, June 5, 2016 ~ I had a 10:35 am appointment at the Apple Store to get a replacement iPhone for Jacob. I called Uber and arrived a little early for my appointment. As usual, the Apple Geniuses were helpful and efficient. I walked around the Forum Shoppes and decided to walk back to the HGVC…not so smart on my part. It was a little less than two miles, but in the 100 plus degree heat, it was a miserable walk. I stopped in CVS for a bottle of water and then in McDonald’s to sit and cool off for a few minutes. But, I made it back and we had lunch in our room and rested for a couple of hours.

We had tickets to see David Copperfield at the MGM Grand at 7:00 pm and since Jacob’s new iPhone would not activate, we had to make another trip to the Apple Store. Delores, our Apple Genius, was able to get the phone activated and we were on our way to the MGM Grand.

David Copperfield was amazing. Jacob and AJ really enjoyed the show from our second-row seats. I have seen him a couple of times in Pensacola, but the illusions have gotten much bigger and better.

After the show, we went across the street to New York, New York and had a slice of New York style pizza.

We took a cab back to the HGVC to conclude our evening.
