Wednesday, June 8, 2016 ~ We awoke to the sight of a snow-capped mountain outside of our hotel window this morning. It had been so late when we arrived Tuesday night, we had no idea.
Our destination today is Jackson (Hole), WY. We took the back roads and saw some stunning scenery.
We had lunch at Speros, a very small, but very popular barbeque restaurant in Malad, Idaho. For me, the pulled pork barbeque sandwich was the best meal I’ve had since we’ve been gone. The boys were not as impressed. We sat at picnic tables outside and ate our lunch. When we finished lunch, we had to go up the street to a mini-mart to use the restrooms before continuing our trip.
Mountains surround our Homewood Suites in Jackson and the city of Jackson is cute and quaint and has a lot of bars and pubs. We ate at the hotel and the boys went to bed early in preparation for our big day tomorrow.
