Tuesday, June 7, 2016 ~ I was so ready to leave Las Vegas that I woke up early, too early to wake the boys. I let them sleep until around 7:00 am and we began getting ready to leave. We had breakfast in the room and finished gathering all of our stuff.

Once the car was loaded, we headed out to find a car wash and an ATM. After completing those chores, we were on the road once again. We headed to Zion National Park, Utah. It was gorgeous and when we got out of the car, it wasn’t hot anymore. I loved the scenery and we saw a couple of adult ostrich and several ostrich babies.

There were several rock and gem stores along the way and we stopped at one that had mounds of colored glass outside. We bought a few souvenirs, because who can resist smooth, shiny rocks?

We drove through all of Zion Park to get to beautiful Bryce Canyon late in the afternoon. After visiting Bryce Canyon, we headed to Orem, UT, just outside of Salt Lake City for our reservations at a Hampton Inn.

We finished Prisoner of Azkaban and began Goblet of Fire.
